Key Hotel's history dates back to the 1950s. Originally built as the Izmir branch of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the building served this purpose until the mid-1980s. After the bank moved to a new building, Key Hotel remained abandoned for many years.

Restored and Reborn:

In 2011, the building was meticulously restored by Makomim and given a new lease of life as Key Hotel. The restoration process carefully preserved the building's original character and history while redesigning the interiors to meet the needs of the modern world.

This remarkable residence in Narlıdere, İzmir, tells a story of transformation. Once a neglected mandarin grove, the six-acre site has been reborn as a stunning oasis, offering a unique blend of contemporary design and natural beauty. The design of the house centers around the concept of creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces. Large windows and sliding doors blur the boundaries between the living areas and the surrounding gardens, while carefully curated landscaping enhances the sense of openness and tranquility.
